i've noticed that shooting pics near the noon period blows out all details in the highlights (glaring too) while for early am/late pm shooting, altho the light quality has a warmer effect, causes the pics to turn alil too orangey. for cloudy days everything seems rather flat and the color is a little dull too. so which is the "optimum" timeframe to take pics? for me i'm still into the low-sun period (early am/late pm) but sometimes the warm yellowy effect is not ideal for some subject matters.

actually you can set the light balance on the camera & also the shutter speed, but kinda tedious thou... but good thing about digicam is u can view them after shots unlike film which have to be developed...

i prefer bright sunny days than cloudy days, cos the pics look brighter & more energetic, den those lazy pics... actually everything depends on the subject & mood, if you are feeling hyper, den ask u to take on cloudy days on those lazy subjects... quite odd... also if taking those sports shots on sunny day while you feeling damn sian also quite weird.

thanks! polarizer now why didnt i think of that...
some day will try foul weather photography for a change too.
