A1 / A2 users out there ... what teleconverter are you using? I am considering investing in one, but need some info on those available. I had a Olympus TCON17 when I was using a C5050, but find it a bit heavy and huge. Any other alternatives? How is the performance? Thanks.

Also still looking for one. :)

How come you guys still need a Tcon? isn't 200mm good enough? well the better one would be tcon-17. have to live with its size. try keno's or gro****

I thought KM releasing 2 T-Cons for its A1 or A2. Are they in Singapore yet ?

My info is mid to end march. wait a little longer dude. I suggest using Minolta released TCONS because there is a little menu in A2 that needs to specify which TCon you using. So I suppose A2 has internal support for TCONed images. Maybe some form of vignetting and distortion control. A1 owners may not be so lucky, but nevertheless, can still use the TCONs by Minolta.

Wonder if Minolta will release a firmware upgrade to support the upcoming TCON?

In that little menu, you can either select "None", "Wide" or "Tele"

Hope the KM released tcon can fit 7Hi well ...

I saw in the press release that the TCONs were suitable for 7i to A2 range of cameras. So I suppose it will fit our 49mm threads. As to the support in the A2 for the Tcons, I suppose KM will release a "patch" or something for all its older cameras. Business wise it does not make sense if they release a TCON that only support the newest range of cameras. They will get :kok: by users of older products..... . And given the dwindling minolta market (Losing out on the DSLR range), that's the least that they want to do.
