Hi everyone,

Am trying to put together my travel videos. One of it i am trying to show is the journey from SG to the destination. I am hoping to show a map with a plane icon moving from A to B with a directional arrow.

What software is being used usually? I have Adobe software. Which one should i use?

Your reply is much appreciated. Thanks!

All you need is an image editing software such as photoshop or gimp. Create a document 1920x1080 or use the HDTV preset. Create seperate layers for the map, the arrow trail, and the airplane. Safe as PSD.
Open either Premiere or FCP and import the PSD docuemnt. You will get a timeline with each element in each layer. Lock the map layer. Apply an edge wipe transition to the dotted trail. Keyframe the aeroplane.

If you have FCPX, Fxfactory has a $59 plug-in dedicated to this effect http://www.rippletraining.com/categ...es/callouts/callouts-for-final-cut-pro-x.html
