What Leica lens to get?

The latest Summicron 50 with ASPH will be at least $2400 Used. If you're thinking of getting one- might want to hold for a while as there MIGHT be a new version on its way.

Latest summicron (right now) doesn't have asph. But it is plenty sharp either ways! Doubt the current lens price will fall by much even with a new asph formula

yep.. latest 50 cron does not have asph... but there might soon be one that is releasing in the near future (may 10?) Lol. that will be a whole new price all over.. if not wrong , most of the 50 cron formula has not been changed through the years.. but i m not 100% sure haha

Sorry. The new Summicron 50 is the one with ASPH and APO but it is going to be much more expensive. If don't need ASPH, the last version Summicron is a great lens, super sharp and much more affordable.
