Thats really cool!

This guys is a Real Shooter

The edges are quite even... no sandpaper involved?

I wonder if the steel grey can weather as nicely.

Hahaha....where's ZoomP, where's ZoomP.....:bsmilie::bsmilie:
But Nice!

Hey I think he sandpapered the dial too! Attention to detail man.

If not he must have turned it quite a bit. Mine is always at 'A.'

He never used his camera. On/Off switch not brassed!:lovegrin:

haha never off before :bsmilie: Shoot till like that;)

O.o The brassing is nice, but breaking the LCD is tad going a bit too far...

Nice! Saw this in another forum.. can't remember which one.. he put the camera together with his canon dslr gears hence very squeezy and the LCD might have cracked.

I agree. This wear does not look realistic because the paint on the power switch is intact. Usually, you can expect alot of brassing at the power on switch

wowwwwwww serious brassing.

its beautiful. soon people will offer professional brassing service :bsmilie:

from RFF forum, it's said that this guy's dad is a certified leica serviceman hehe

He shoots at a lot of concerts and outdoor events. Things get rowdy quick, and it's less likely someone is going to mug him of a **** beat-up camera, so he does this to keep his photos "safe" as a lot of these shots he gets are once and a lifetime shots, so he needs to not only safeguard his gear (insurance) but safeguard his photos (hence the damaging of his camera).. A stolen M9 you can get replaced, the photos you can't.

Best,
Adam

Omg.... the brassing is nice but definitely not the cracked LCD screen..... ouch. People like me can only dream to own an expensive digital rangefinder... how can he do that.... :(

ZoomP can have a new business, sand paper and his hand.
