Hi, great effort for a start! Not easy to rush out an SDE in time to screen at the wedding dinner right?
Just a few points to share (most likely you know as well),
1) Got to be more stable for shots that are meant to be still. Got a monopod?
2) I think your Glidecam's drop time is most likely too short. Set the drop time longer. Hopefully it is more stable when you walk.
3) You sure can use more closeup shots (i.e. at 85mm or more).
4) Be mindful of the switch in "feel" when you transit from 1 song to another.
5) Perhaps remove the squeaky sounds when you do fastforward?

Keep shooting and you'll get better! My 1st SDE 8 yrs ago was somewhat like yours... minus the use of Glidecam.

Thanks for the pointers Alternus!! Really spot on... I too think that Im not stable enough for my stills...

May I ask, what do you mean by the Drop time of my Glidecam? Are you referring to the weights?

Drop time:
Hold your Glidecam by the handle with 1 hand, then turn the system horizontal and let go. The system should fall to become vertical again. The time it takes for your Glidecam to become vertical = drop time.

Haiya... you never read the balancing manual lah... you can go search for balancing tutorials in youtube. tons of them there. Faster than reading manual.

Thanks for the valuable feedbacks!! Realised you are from alvinadeline... I loved your videos by the way:)

Thanks mate! Enjoy the journey! Shoot and present a wedding the way you think it should be done. Not the way everyone else (including myself) is doing. Hope we can see some refreshing approaches!
