Wedding photographer/videographer

Hi all,

I am a wedding coordinator, helping my client look for photographer and videographer on the 15th June, morning to afternoon lunch time...

They have a very small buget for this, therefore do try to work out something attractive if you are proposing both..

Fortunately this is not my wedding for i will surely set a side bigger budget.. the couple do not even intend to have a wedding photographer and videographer, so you can just imagine.. so please take note that the customer is price sensitive, please dont be upset with me if yours is not elected by client, im just doing my job.

Give us a rough budget or price range. Their price sensitivity level differs from mine, and the others.

Dun trick us lar ... No $ still got a wedding co-ordinator ? For those who really keen on this job, i sugguest u negotiate directly with the wedding couple on the prices ..

Just in case someone take a commission cut for ur 'already' very low price service ..

Those who are keen to take up this assignment, maybe can help TS to liaise with the client directly? Sure it will work up well.
Bear in mind that the client has no intention to engage PG/VG, so you can really imagine =P

this is not a scam, this is my best friend wedding, I am his coordinator, instead of contacting me directly you decided to write immature claims and speculation on my post... Real mature...

I have already selected a wedding photographer and videographer.

When i say small budget i was NOT refering to free photography or $100... I meant to say we do not have a budget of $4000-6000/service for both AD services like most real professional names are offering... and i respect them and i respect their works a whole lot and i fully understand why they command this price cos they are superb... but unfortunately he doesnt have the budget for it as we need to put aside some of the budget for overseas pre wedding photography with full expense (airtickets, hotels, food and transport) fully paid by the groom plus the cost of the service rendered.. I will bear in mind all those who have contacted me and refer jobs to you in my field of work in events and weddings, thanks all for writing in.

All the mature and professional service providers including those who just started out but have the profesionalism to contacted me including the well known shooters in the market, thank you so much for your time.. I wish you all well in your career and I wish you prosperity in your business and your works.

And the reason why the post was written and structured this way is because we do not wish to bargain with the photographers or videographers so we hope that all service providers can send us their best pricing. As some providers will put in a buffer so that clients can negotiate. We don't believe in that... The Client (my best friend) works in Beijing thats why I have to help my him out..

So before you guys judge others, find out what it really is, don't ASSUME... Thanks for replying and writting to this thread

we have seen many people come here to ask for FREE photography in the name of portfolio building,

or offering networking, exposure, experiences gaining, or credit given

or offer free food and drinks as if our photographers are "will work for food".

we also see $50 birthday party shoot, $10 architectural shoot, $1.99 cufflink shoot,



so how do you expect members here to know how small is budget your friends has? since they don't intent to hire any in the first place.

you tell everyone here to use their own imagination. now you tell people do not assume anything, sorry to say, we are very confuse with what you say here.
