wats the reasonable price for 72mm hoya circular-polariser

having been to a few shop including AP & Cathay etc but the price quoted varies alot the cheapest i got is from Max color @ chinattown for $61 is this price reasonable? thks

72mm should be able to get for $50..but again depend on what brand, feature..eg B+w 72mm will be more ex than say konix plain UV 72mm

I think he asked for a circ pol.... not a UV filter.... really not sure but u could ask Cathay Photo, TCW and Alan... I usually use their prices as benchmarks...

The difference lies in the quality of the coating... the more expensive ones have better coatings which last longer and reduce flaring, ghosting, etc... basically gives u a better image with less artifacts for the same situation.

OT: But normally I'll just hold the 77mm polarizer infront of the len and use my fingers to turn it manually. Hehe...
