Bro, 21mm is the bomb man, not easy to use at the start, very challenging but when you get there, its worth it all.

I shoot 21mm full time.

I've seen the 21mm in use. Love it. :)

close ups on 21mm are dramatic!

wah so close ah....
no distortion on the face? my 21mm distort quite badly if shot at this close.

yea personally i like 50mm too. i even met up with a friend who uses 70-200mm. omg

with 1 camera: 35mm
with 2 cameras: 21 + 50 :D

Thxs thxs.. I see most of the bros like to use wide for street shots... Yes to mi even a 35mm I find it too wide... Not easy to use..Prefer to use tele shot @ a comfortable distant...")

Personally for me it is the 25 & 50mm.

Experiment by going closer when you're bored of your current range :)

200mm will improve your photography; you'll be undetectable. With a crop-body, it'll be a 300mm!

Who can't do 'street' with a long lens?

Approx ~85mm

A well known local street photog calls this "across the street"

I couldn't help but laugh when I read that!

Tele lens - observer
Wide angle - Participant

Big difference in both. Engaging as a participant is my style but of course, whichever floats your boat.

one thing for sure, our shooting style will change over time... as with the focal length, what may seem "too wide" now may just be your standard focal length a few moons down the road!

There's no right or wrong, you just need to be comfortable with what you're using and find your own style... like RWC said, whatever that floats your boat! ;)

btw, back to topic, i'm using mainly 35mm... latest acquisition, a Hex UC 35/2 ltm :)

35mm was my favorite, especially with this UC-hex... After that i bought many 35mm cause i thought i would stick with this focal.

Hmmm, now <21 + 50> combo on 2 cameras is my fav ;)
