this little orange dot is so small.. till i thght its some dirt or wat..

but our dear beivied able to see the 2 "rhinopheres" sticking out and urge me to take a photo of it...

can u ppl ID this tiny little thing?

heres the actual image using ucl165+pcu01 macro lens with full zoom.. :sweat: so guess how small this is..

my guess : from the cowrie family, as for the scienctific name.... errr..... need to check that out.
 

but it could also be a nudibranch because of the 2 2 "rhinopheres", or what seems to be 2 "rhinopheres"!
 

ah! i saw this before, quite a few of them, but i was only armed with 1xPCU01 no way i could get a shot of this.

i think maybe it s a cowie or the seahare maybe?
 

My experience of seahares tell me that they are usually much larger than this, so i think it's either cowrie or nudi.

Ok, who's the got the 1001 book to check????
 

The presence of a 'shell' do make me think it is a cowry. But the 'rhinophore' says otherwise as cowry only have feelers which look different from rhinophore. The lack of pattern on its shell makes it difficult to ID. Might be a juvenile of a bubble shell??? :dunno:
