For all of you who've tried the z-finder...do you like it? I'm looking in to getting one for my 7d, but heard that it pixelates the image quite a bit. Any thoughts?

Also looking for a steady, but light tripod to shoot video with. Need it for travels and am using lenses from 16mm - 600mm.
Also need a good, smooth, light tripod head if anyone has any suggestions.

pixalation is due to the resolution of the actual LCD. Its not that bad as long as u dun stare into it for a long time.

We have tried the hoodman but the magnification is not as good hence the ability to focus is less.
