I have been thinking, for a year now, of getting a Lumix DMC FT-2 for my adventurous life style, and specifically for the rarely found Video light in a compact cam.
But now I just found out about Sony DSC TX5, and it deeply shook my initial decision for FT2 due to its quality as well as style of the cam. However, the major thing which is stopping me from buying it is really still the video light, which I need to take videos in dark outdoor conditions as well as in clubs.
Also, I've heard of some issues with the touch screen interface including the lack of ease when switching among Auto, Video and other modes, as well as the sensitivity of the screen when underwater.
I am wondering if anyone has used any of these 2 cameras and can tell me more about the issues surrounding video light and touch screen, as well as tell me about alternatives which I can consider, especially those which has video light, since this function is surprisingly ignored in most specifications.
Thank you very much for your help!
