Video digidize problem. Pls help.

HI, Is anyone know how to digidize video from DV Tape to my PC? I had plug in with firewire but it never appear to be detected...Do I need to install any driver?

You should not need a driver for DV, but what are you using to play the tape? If it's a videocam, there might be a menu setting to enable the firewire output.

Try using another cable. happened to me once that the new cable i bought was faulty. Also check is ur firewire card driver installed?
