My Rollei 35SE camera battery die on me while transit from Bangkok to Kathmandu. can't get that brand of battery and I have no choice but to shoot with this camera at fully mechanical mode without the light meter. luckily there's a f16 sunny rule guide which i remember and I make use of it to get estimated correct exposure of the film.

1/125s + f16 or f22 on a bright sun
1/125s + f8 or f11 on a slightly cloudy day
1/125s + f4 or f5.6 on a very cloudy day
1/125s + f2.8 or f4 on a gloomy day
and so on...

Homeless kid begging on the road ... either money or chocolates were given... the local organization is trying to curb this problem, try not to give anything to the homeless as you can indirectly promote begging...
Tricycle is one of the common transport in Kathmandu, the tourists take it as well as the local... but it will be a bumpy ride as the road have alot of pot holes...
I thought that poor guy are having some kind of trouble with the authority and he gestured to me and say take more photos... later I found out that they are security guards having a little chat with the flute vendor...
Local boys having fun at the temple... most of them hang around there to either play and beg from the tourists... most of them developed the habit of glue sniffing... and I felt so sorry for them... when one of them breathing into the plastic bag...
