for her first piano trial lesson, numbered paper labels were taped around Erin's fingers to indicate which fingers are which. though i'm not sure she remembers all her numbers to begin with.

washed cloth

first time i've ever sent a bag of my own for professional cleaning. since purchasing it in Kyoto in Nov '09, this Shinzaburo Hanpu shoulder bag has been my go-to bag for the past four years, ferrying camera gear, ipad, compact umbrella, documents, books, even a 13" macbook pro in a pinch. seasoned, well-worn and washed, and i'm glad to have it back in service.
