I've a Minolta 5200i (GN52)which is being used with my Dynax 8000i.

However I've gotten another camera which has a normal hotshoe. Is there any adaptor available that allows me to use the 5200i as a manual zoom flash?

Trying not to spend extra money on another flash...especially since this minolta flash is more powerful than most of the flashes in the market.;)

I'm not a Minolta user, but can't you just put your flash in A or M mode? Besides in TTL mode on my F80, I use my Nikon SB28 in A mode with a Pentax K all the time. :dunno:

Nope, Minolta's hotshoe is proprietary.
