I am planning to get a new laptop and are looking at Dell ones. I only use my laptops for surfing, chatting, downloads and Photoshop, no gaming. Hence, one of the things I look at was the laptop screen colours. I m using Dell Latitude for company laptop and I must say the colours dun seem to come off well, and I am worried the laptops I am looking at (Inspiron and Vostro series) have the same problem.
Therefore, I was considering upgrading to Studio XPS16. However, for the price increase, I wonder if I should just get a LCD/LED monitor such as Dell 2209WA? I mean, for all my worries about colour representation, I think an LCD/LED monitor would have better and more accurate colour representation (after calibration of cos) compared to a laptop screen?
Is that correct?
