URGENT: need a D700 by saturday

I dropped my D90 today and i need a camera by saturday for a photoshoot.

any bros/sis bought their D700 recently... can you let me know the where and the best price? i need to get it by tmr... and hopefully overnight i can get familiar with the camera.

u can actually rent a D700 (or any camera for that matter) instead. that way you don't get "pushed" into buying a new camera "by saturday" just for that one photoshoot.

Why don't you rent one 1st? Look in the Commercial Services Offered section

but after this shoot on saturday... i am flying to overseas to do another shoot which is 2 weeks long (social + assignment)
not worthwhile to rent.

I think you can call Nikon office. They will help since you have oversea assignment.

Sent my D90 for repairs.. approximately 2 wk days
bought the D700 today...

anyway some of the bros here are right... i need a backup camera..
been holding this idea for too long..
