[ URGENT HELP ] Needed! My images in SD Card all gone!

btw, based on these incidents, is it a must to format the SD card in that camera u r using so as to avoid data loss? and is this then the culprit?

or is it just merely manufacturing and quality control issues?

Usually i just do a format before shooting. it's become of a habit now.

Could be either, could be corruption when you plug in also. After you format, if you use and still no problem, likely to be just corruption, I format once in a long time, most of the time delete in camera, no issues whatsoever even after years

I managed to recover all the photos (if my memory never fails me).

I tried Lexar Image Rescue 4. took me about 6 hours for the scanning of the card.
THank god!

hopefully nothing of this ever happen to anyone here.

And thanks everyone for providing recommendation.

Still very puzzled what went wrong and if i should dump the card or change to a new one.

I thk u shd get an exchange from Lexar if possible.

Ok. I tot he used Lexar bec he quoted the software. In any case, better for you then. Sandisk has agent in funan. Go there and exercise your warranty rights.
