URGENT! Help needed for corrupted CR2 file

Hi guys.
Any one of you has encountered a corrupted CR2 file before?
Any way to fix this? I have like 100++ broken/corrupted CR2 files and i need a way to fix it
as they are quite important pictures for an event i took recently.

Cant be opened using Adobe Camera RAW. Converted to DNG still cant be opened. CS6 with latest update also cant open.
No preview. Basically no IMAGE at all. But file size is (30mb) same as other files.
I need to open it. I need to save the image.. sigh. wana cry so loud..

I know its cause of my memory card. Need to change it liao.

Anyone please share your experience and preferably if any, solution!

The memory card may have a basic file recovery software included like Sandisk but may not recover everything.Try the free file recovery softwares in the internet.See youtube for instructions and reviews.

I have tried recovery from memory card.. Didnt manage to recover the photos as it has already been overwritten.

And i shot it using Canon 5Dii.

If it's important to you then spend some time understanding,reading about image files.Whatever editing software you use
they are dumb,meaning they just read image files.All image file have a header file that contain information of
how the file is to be "read" and usually it's this header file that's corrupted,of course the main image data file may also be.
That's why the file still show size of file.

If you know how the particular file header is constructed/the format you can reinstate the missing bits or text.For this you need a text editor like notepad or word.Try looking for image/graghics repair software that can do this.Do an internet search and you should have the details if you are up to it.

The structure of a RAW image is very complicated and take a long time to fully understand it. And the error may come from every bit inside that RAW file so good luck finding them. Ff you really want to fix them, google an app call "AptEdit" to read the file into hex values, then you will be able to edit it.

Yes,you are right but basically canon's software is based around an embedded TIFF graghics file.This is too deep for
TS.After some search I came up with this solution:

RAWDrop - Frontend for dcraw

It repairs CR2 files too.Try it TS. (I think you need dcraw,it's in the documentation).

Here is a free data recovery software ,up to 1gb.

Send a corrupted sample of your CR2 file to me and I will see how I can salvage for u. No guarantee obviously.
