Hi ESPN,
where is this Nikon council and what time is it?
I would like to add that I am a complete newbie to SLR, just worried that I may not be intellectualy able to discuss camaera stuffs with you guys, pls bare with me if I ask stupid qs!
On another note, I work as a New Media Designer and use PS extensively, so might be able to share some tips etc in that area,

btw 1750 for the 12-24 is a bit ex.
i highly recommend the sigma 12-24 at 1100. better optics but heavier and have curved front element. unless brands are more important to u than picture quality lah.. heh.

Hmmm .... this morning Lords quoted me 1650 for the 12-24mm but no stock .... :cry:
BTW, CP ever quoted me a few weeks back for 1680 the same lens ... :sweat:

I think $1750 is a little expensive.
I bought mine few weeks back from Max Photo at $1650 (with GST). That is the same price quoted to me by a few other Nikon authorised retailers. Do shop around...while CP's service is commendable, I do find their prices on the high side most of the time. You would be surprised how competitive some of the other Nikon authorised retailers are for the local dollar (e.g. Max and Lord).
Also, I think CP has a problem with managing inventory (too well patronised I suspect). Wanted to buy a ToyoLiving Dry Cabinet from them yesterday (any of the larger capacity ones >125L). Was told that they have no stock, and dont know when new stock will arrive. Could be 3 months or more. Most of their LowePro bags are also out-of-stock too. I have given up on their inventory control (or lack thereof)...SIGH
