loading of film can be very tricky. here's my step:

1: don't use the red sticker as a guide.
2: use your finger, turn the right roller manually untill the tiny pop-out plastic is facing you.
3: when loading the film, make sure the 1st or 2nd hole is inside the tiny pop-out plastic.
4: close the cover.

It aways work.

Hope this help.

Most cameras have this red line at the other end of the flim compartment. So when I pull the film tape out so that it reaches this line and I close the compartment, I always get a positive loading. But if I am run the film short, it does not load the film at all. Unlike the nikon F-80 which made me lose a roll of film! I find that I lose one frame if I pull the film just a little beyond the red line. I usually get 37 frames.

I think its advisable to go there first, check the camera. Open the film compartment. See if the film rails (parallel silvery part above and below the shutter) sow any wearing or bad film deposit.

Use these factors to justify as weak points to bring the price lower. Check the Flash contact, if not shiny oso can use it as reason. See the lens mount - check if its really worn with lots of rub/sratch marks.....

I think he weould probably ask for somewhere 900 to 1100......bargain bargain bargain.....if he don't wanna move get out of the shop.

Come back another day later and qoute a lower price - mabbe say the Price of the 800si brand new is very cheap and you may get the 800si 1st hand instead.....of the 2nd Hand.....

I'm sure if you are a serious buyer.......he will try to accept your price......remember, any price 2nd hand shop qoute is 2x the price thay got from previous owner........

Try putting your 505si as a trade in...

juz a thought
