That's just the title explaining what the next series of steps do. You can ignore it.
The problem I had was during step 2 - it says to press down select button as you switch the camera on. That gave me a "PFL" on the LCD. I discovered the correct procedure was to press the select button AFTER I had switched on the camera.
I try, I Try ... but I don't arrived .... The "L" never appears ,and the hexar make alxays the zzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz noise for the focus and after the shoot ...
1. Make sure there is no film in the camera and the camera is OFF
2. Turn aperture dial to f22
3. Switch on camera to "P" mode - LCD shows "0"
4. Press Select button - LCD shows "+/- 0.0"
5. Press Select button again - LCD goes back to "0"
6. Switch camera off
7. Switch camera on again to "P" mode
[The next steps refer to the Up / Down buttons just behind the aperture dial]
8. Press Right Up/Down button 1 time (R1)
9. Press Left Up/Down button 2 times (L2)

13. Press Left Up/Down button 2 times (L2)
14. Press Right Up/Down button 1 time (R1)
CHANGE CODE TO A[00]
15. Turn aperture dial to f13 - LCD shows A[xx] where xx = a hexadecimal number
16. Use the Left Up/Down button to change the number to 00 ie LCD = A[00](You may have to press about 30-40 times - just keep pressing until the number goes to zero)
CHANGE CODE TO D[FA]
17. Turn aperture dial to f16 - LCD shows D[xx] where xx = a hexadecimal number
18. 16. Use the Right and Left Up/Down buttons to change the number to 00 ie LCD = D[FA] (You may have to press about 30-40 times - just keep pressing until the number goes to FA)
19. Switch camera off - LCD continues to show F16
20. Press shutter button down and hold it down for 2 seconds - the "F16" on the LCD disappears
21. Congratulations! You have now enabled "Stealth" mode.
22. Press and hold down the "MF" button while switching on the camera. You will see an "L" at the left of the frame number on the LCD. This is stealth mode. You will need to do this every time you switch the camera on, otherwise it will default to normal (non-stealth) mode.
I'll try your system ....
But I have a question (again !) : Is there any risk to damage the camera with all this tips ? And how to do if I have a problem ?
I have friends in Singapore , too pretty girls meet in NYC in 2002, and I hope one days visit her ... But Singapore is far away from France ....
Whate are the original settings of Hexar ?
Thanx
