Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Model: NIKON D70s
Shutter Speed: 1/40 second
F Number: F/4.5
Focal Length: 90 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Date Picture Taken: May 5, 2007, 6:11:30 PM

started playing with my new lens.
frangipani flower
i hope the framing is ok with u all. the usual 1/3 rule and oscilating motion
i dont even know what i focused on. =[ anyone can tell me whats focused? i cant really tell from my view finder but the dot that is suppose to indicate if its in focus said it was.
i just got this idea of a whirl pool of colour and emotions when i saw the flower so i just went up and snapped it. over exposed slightly for the dreamy effect.
overall besides the focus i am rather happy with it.

pls comment and crit =D

quite nice, great idea on your part.

but just to nitpick, you have spots esp towards the bottom, i don't think it's sensor dust unless it's really that big, but just to be sure, do blow your sensor and check with small Fstop picture eg F22 just to be sure.

i would photoshop away the spots if i'd were you :)

Great photo, hope to see more :)

got a big giant spot in the centre ... but thats not the point ...

good idea, have not tried anything like this before ...

think either needs more DOF or lesser.

Focus shld be at bottom of flower and not somewhere in between - then its neither here or there.

Focus at edge of picture? possible - must try to see how it turns out ...
