The best camera is the one you have on you.
Better still if you have a few more attachments and apps.

1. Hi grade Lens kit: http://momentlens.co/
Because digital zoom sucks!

2. tripod strap mount http://www.strapya-world.com/products/74939.html
(use more straps to add extra 1/4"-20 holes for accessories /coldshoe)
Because shaky footage sucks!

3. Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve adapter http://www.ebay.com/bhp/trrs-adapter
Because the phone's built-in mic sucks!

4. Filmic Pro App (iOS) http://www.filmicpro.com/ or
Igcamera (Android)
because shooting 30fps in PAL land sucks!

5. Buy this Audio Technica Lavalier Kit and get item number 3 for FREE!
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...a_atr3350is_lavalier_mic_with_smartphone.html
Because FREE is good!

6. Z1 Smooth 3-axis handphone stabiliser
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoZe8qBEUrI
Because a steadicam won't fit in your back pocket!

7. SDcard backup reader http://www.macworld.com/article/236...w-sd-card-reader-for-your-ipad-or-iphone.html
because running out of storage sucks!

8. Add a coldshoe and look bad-ass http://astore.amazon.com/unigrippro-20/detail/B00AUXGHDQ
Because you can!

I wonder how #3 can help turn some camera models with single audio input to dual? I.e RX-1R or some Nikon D5300 series?

Not suitable. The TRRS adapter merely reroute the typical TRS mic connection and separates out the earphone signal to a second port. A heachtek MC2 is the better option for cameras.

I've used this product to feed dual inputs into a single jack on a GH3.
What it does is send each signal to the L and R channel.

Cool! Thanks for sharing.

Warning! Just bought this.

Because the spacing for the audio in and out are placed two close, in reality, you can't insert two audio jacks at one time! The product cannot be used!

Lol, looks like for consumer-level products with very slim/minimal jacks?

There are 1-2 other sellers selling models which look like they have more generous spacing, but more ex.

Audio Technica bundles one with their ATR3350 lav, looks like with more generous spacing too.
