Ah photo for booze! Go! Go! Go!

Maybe the kind of travel pictures that you're looking for should also be specified. Travel photography can include portraits, landscapes, architechture, street, and the list goes on.

Sorry for any confusion caused.
The travel picture can be anything, landscapes, architechture, street, as long as it's not those posy shots.
I am not asking for free picture here, because the submission is for readers to submit their pictures to be shared.
As for the cash, i am afraid that it is not possible, as the column had been sponsored by the wine company.
However, if you think that your picture has commercial value in it, and can sell it as a stock picture, then you're more than welcome not to submit it.
And if you guys want to classified this as one of the asking for free photo thread, feel free to tell me and i am more than willing to remove it.

thanks for reading again

And yes, credit will definately be given

I think low res should be smaller than that though, with 900 x 600, even at 300dpi (which most magazines dont even use), you can already print a 3 inch by 2 inch photo....

If lowe res mag print, even bigger...

Anyway up to you to decide :).

Cheers!

Personally, i am strongly against people coming here to ask for free photographer/service, and it seemed that there're many people here who are against my intention of helping a client/friend to source for a photograph.
And for your information, the picture is going to be used on the last page (full page) so a 900x600 image is definately not enough for that.
For those who want to find out what magazine it is, pm me, like what some of you did, and i will let you know the title of the magazine and where to find it.
And let me say that again, for those who think that i am trying to rip off the fellow forum members here, please bring out your reason, and I will close this thread if i think it's true, if not, please keep all your comments to yourself
Thanks

i would say go check out the magazine on the news stand lah.. pretty normal for various mags to ask for reader submissions for a special last page feature. i don't drink champagne for fun (only for free if I come across it :P ) so what the heck, one whole bottle!

on the other hand, i guess forummers would also want some assurance that the submitted photos, used or otherwise, don't get re/used elsewhere without first having prior permission from the photographer. not just deliberate misuse, but also unintentional ones, say due to poor image / archive management practices.

i have images shot for a paid client, which was submitted to a daily as a publicity shot. by right the image should be one-time use only, but somehow the same pic makes a reappearance once every two-three years because someone in the daily forgot to tag the image as "One-time Use" only.

Don't need such a strong reaction, no one say that anyone is ripping anyone off.
