Hi all. Recently taken some very important footage with my old Panasonic NV-DS11. Yesterday tried to playback the footage and realize my panasonic is dead. Can i use my Sony HD1000P to transfer it to the PC instead? Need to get this done asap. Just want to clarify before anything goes wrong.

As long as you recorded in SP mode and not LP, you should be OK.
