Torchlight recommendation

Hi guys, I am thinking of doing some light painting and I do own a speedlight, but would prefer a constant light source (at least I can find my way in the dark and it's easier to gauge the intensity).

However, I remember seeing a type of torch that can both concentrate and flood the light source. Any ideas/recommendations on this?
