Won't the camera fall off the handle should the lower thumb nut loosen ever so slightly? And that can happen easily when the handle twists slightly during use. That is one of my fears.
Thus I came up with my own top handle a few years ago with a safety cap that prevents that. And I only used a single thumb screw at the top to secure everything together. The thumb screw has to unscrew at least 3 full rounds for the handle to fall off.

haha that's why I use a NATO rail with a cage.. works great for me so far! your top handle looks great for run and gun setups.
