I was clearing my dry box after just buying my A700 yesterday, and I suddenly saw this:

Yes, I forgot to pass you the AA batteries adapter which came along with the vertical grip last time. 4 years ago, and I only found out now. I am feeling very guilty for selling a product with one part missing:bsmilie:. If you still remember me and just nice stumble across this thread, I'm willing to meetup at some mrt station (best if AMK or YCK) to pass you this adapter which is rightfully yours.

haha. actually, this was part of my reason into going CS again. had about a 2 year break away from cs.

but wow, but minolta forum changed alot liao. last time so many people take joy in using those old minolta lenses, but now, everyone seem to be chasing after new sony lenses.

heh heh, dca, pai, geno, drudkh, yokechye, and i rmb that insanely long thread i created last time. was fun being a noob last time, drooling over G lenses, wondering if APS-C lens means the focal length shown is cropped, seeing people selling their whole minolta setup after news of sony takeover. haha!

time really flies. people using minolta last time are kind of different from people using sony now. guess the more "mainstream" branding does make a difference to the type consumers it attracts. and i also rmb how i pissed off dca with the incessant student price thingy. haha:bsmilie:. now must apologise for my childishness last time.:embrass:

but i going overseas for long term soon, looks like he left CS. it's still kind of amazing how those using minolta last time used to frequent this forum, and now when the dslr hype is at its max, we slowly leave this place.:bsmilie:

It felt different nowadays talking about Minolta here after Sony took over. I still love my KM 7D though. nothing beats it

yeah, minolta was just a peaceful brand. loved my 7D too, sadly had to let it go because the AF was just too slow . If there was an option to sent in the 7D and change the AF mechanism (hypothetically speaking), i'll glady do that for a fee and retain my 7D.
