Nice color and sharpness and good timing on the blue sky.

lovely shots . I like the CBD skyline with the moving vehicles lights

Thanks for dropping by guys...glad you like them.

the rocks in #2 are too distracting. should have gone closer to the water's edge

in #3, what are you trying to showcase? the skyline or the moving vehicle? if it's the skyline, the vehicle has ruined it, and the skyline is not interesting because of the tight crop of the frame. the road and motion blur are pretty prominent so it takes away the attention.

#1 is nice for its colors. but what is the subject? the boardwalk at sunrise, or the dark hut? your lines are drawing the viewers to the hut, and for me, my eyes can't tell which to look at.

Beautiful shoot!!!!

#1. Patient needed to take a shoot like that with theres no one walking along the bridge. (Not photo shop right??). Nice sky! Nice bridge!

#2. Rock in the sand, rock in the water, nice edge of jetty and beautiful blue sky!! Nice angle!! Cant have this shoot if its high tide. Good timimg.

#3. Watch up don't fall in to the drain hahah...shooting model in studio need drop down. Imaging your drop down is the nice natural beautiful blue sky (you really like blue!!) with a nice building lighting(model) and trail (decaration!!).

Photo shoot are very personal as long as you find its nice to you as a hobby unless you are going for professional.

Just a personal opinion! No offense!!!

dude,
I can see where you are coming from. However, #03 is not about urban landscape photography per se. It's about capturing the vibe, the vibrancy of a busy city and the need to slow down. You can see that I had included the 'SLOW' sign on the left and this, in relation to the illusionary speeding bus, would give an aspect of what I'm trying to say. Anyone could had produced an average run of the mill shot of the skyline by just framing and snapping it. That's not what I'm after.

The rocks in #02 are to add foreground interest to the scene, leading the viewers' eyes to the jetty. Do tell me what you perceive down at the water edge that is interesting to make this photo more aesthetic?

You had answered #01 yourself. There are more to the scene than the hut itself......unless your views are so shallow that you can’t see beyond the hut?

i like #1 very much, nice colour and good timing.
Care to share what filters you use?

wat lens and filters did you use ? So nice !!! ^^

Appreciate your visit here...esmondwd, boobic and droozy.

The lens I used for these photos are the Sigma 10-20mm and the Canon 17-40mm.
Other than a UV, no other filters were used.

#01 had been hdr processed in photomatix.

I thought I love #01, the sky is nice and that small tinge of glare from the light is just nice as to what I feel

#02 is nice also, to me, I think the rocks are good, I have taken quite a number of pictures there with the rocks also. I don't find anything wrong.

As for #03, I didn't notice the slow sign initially, but after you mentioned it, I think it shows a good message. but probably if more light trails will have more impact?

In anyway, I think its good. great shooting.

Something like this?....

While it's good to add extra element to create interest like trail lights into the scene , the impact of what I'm trying to portray is lessen if I were to choose this one as oppose to the one with the illusionary speeding bus. Then again, you may see things different from me. That's the wonder of photography......it's so subjective.

Yep, something like that.. but I still hope to see more lines...hehehe.... nice also.

I like #1. The Bridge sort of forming a loop starting from the bottom of the picture to the left and draws my attention to the beautiful sky!
