Currently using this. A good camera. ;)

seriously, I might want to change my 505si with your x-700.

I love classic thing.

heh. But might want to use the x-700 for backup after buying an AF camera.

The X-700's a really good camera.
It's really well built, and it offers fuss-free operation..
Sometimes, the more features you have on your camera, the longer you take to shoot... and you may miss the shot...

(a real life example):
Ok, going to take a shot..... wait! Did I set my AF system to S instead of C? Ok set to S liao... wait? Will the metering system be fooled? Must compensate?... Must use centre-weighted? OK, everything set. "Press shutter"... Eh, why never shoot? Shucks, it's set to timer mode! Forgot to change it back.... arghh....

My dad was so used with the sturdy build of his X-700 that he was so shocked to find out the plasticky build of the F80...

And the X-700 uses only 2 small cells (those you see in calculators)...
Was really pissed with my F80 when it ran out of juice when I tried to shoot.... argh.

F80 for sale, anyone interested? ;)

My friend still got some lenses and the battery grip for this camera. I wonder anyone might be interested.

Hiee...

was eyeing this for a while......2nd hand at $200-250???

Saw a second hand at $230 for body only. ;)

yah nowaday SLR cameras are plastic built, low cost. except the pro range one.

This was the first camera my brother bought way back in 1985. It was camera of the year back then. He said he has dropped the camera but it still works well.
