Hi guys, after much thought I've decided I would need a DVX much more compared to my XL-2 and I work very closely with my friend - who also owns a DVX.

And most of the time we'll be shooting the same things, and editing it under a single timeline.

My XL-2 PAL, is 1 year old. Just sent for Canon maintainence afew months ago. Very good condition. I still have the 1 year warranty unfilled ready to go.

PM me if anyone is interested.

Thanks for reading.

Ya, much easier to match footage if you're both using the same model camera.

But I don't think the warranty on the XL2 works the way you describe. If I'm not wrong, it's supposed to be from date of purchase, and registration should be within 2 weeks or so of purchase. So that means the camera is already out of warranty. Best thing is to check with Canon and see what they say.

They gave me a chop. And said, come back when u need to use it..
Thats what they said back then.

Richard, know anyone with a dvx?

Only Malcolm, ha ha, but I think that's who you want to match footage with, right?
