I've had the pleasure to see Skye's work develop from 2 years ago to become one of Singapore's best fashion photographers.

Combining both glamour and sex into his photographs, his treatment of skin and strong consideration of colour is worth taking note of also.
And of course, he knows how to make the clothes look great.

If you wish to see more work view http://skyetan.net

ah, i have seen this guy somewhere before. can't remember when, where though. might be random browsings.

the 2nd from last and 3rd from last, is it improper scanning? i'm not really anal about color accuracy but here the shadows are pretty weird to me. care to clarify if it is deliberate, and any idea why (since you take fashion too, if i'm not wrong)? i would have thought that color accuracy in fashion spreads would be important..

yes the colour treatment is intentional.
If you develop film and underexpose it you can pull up shadows with a colour cast to them. An aesthetic choice I would presume.

i see, thanks for clarification.

i suppose maybe since the midtones/highlights here aren't too affected, at least to my eye.. it might not be a problem.

beautiful.
