Sunny Similans 2009

Hi everyone,

Just back from a fun-filled LOB trip to the Similan Islands. No mantas or whalesharks, just lots of crazy divers and throwing each other off the boats.

There was a baby manta feeding at donald duck bay for more than an hour just behind one of our boats, but i was all showered and too lazy to jump in. the next day, a turtle came by and i changed and jumped in to take photos! so dumb, isn't it?

Oops, missed out 2 shots that i thought was pretty amusing

haha yeah...i could hear it's fins as it went scraaaaatchhhh across the dome port. mine's glass, i think. it's the ikelite 8" dome. but anyways, the scratches dont show up in photos, except when the sun is in the frame. not a big problem i suppose.

yes vis was pretty decent at most of the sites. no currents as well! we timed our trip right...very nice weather with lots of sun and wind to keep it fun! wish i had a small dinghy to sail off the back of the boat...

Well luckily 8" dome is arcrylic not glass so you can buff out the scratches.

ok thats nice to know! will get down to doing buffing it...or most likely leave it as it is! haha
