I am interested in geotagging and after some basic research, I wanna make the choices between Nikon GP-1, Easytagger GPS, Solmeta and Dawntech's. So anyone could give me the using experiences of these four gadgets?

Thanks

As one day has passed and nobody has replied your query, let me answer.

If you are not so familiar with the 3rd party brands, better to choose the original one, Nikon GP-1.

Sorry can't help you further as have no experience in this area.

I got the Qstarz BT-1000 from South Asia Computer @funan two years ago. Works well and I even managed to get it to talk to my Mac http://stngiam.wordpress.com/category/gps/. Unfortunately I'm not sure if they sell it any more. The shops all seem to sell only car-mounted gps's nowadays. Worse comes to the worse, there's always mail order

makagps should still have qstarz. look for shawn say kevin intro'd
I love my qstarz.
excellent battery life.
links with my nokia maps via bluetooth.

the 'free' option is to set your camera to GPS time.
record / log the gps on your phone gps ..
and use software to geotag it.

i do not really like the additional accessory to my SLR.
