Hi There Asdf...
The above described color Saturation tweaking would do the job...
=======================
FYI....different digital camera ..especially brands....gives different colour saturation depends on the fimware DSP(digital Signal Processing algo.)
Through my experiences with the different brands like sony FV series...Canon S series and the Dimage.....i personally htinks that the Canon and Sony gives better colour saturation...especially in colours like green and red...e.g Vivid mode in Canon Digicams...(What you see in the photo is not what you see with your eyes...).
This is greatly due to the individual colour mapping and gain settings to thier own colourspace...Boosted to give the "favourable to the eye" images.
Maybe the Dimage is good for other colours....i don't have that much exposure to Dimage colours to this point.....
I took photos with my old canon S10 and Ixus V2 simultanously....ans in the S10 there is no vivid more.....
So can see the OBVIOUS diference in the colour boosting.
Some cameras especially with the EVF(electronic viewfinders - the Dimage series...use this)....have a redder than red images on the EVF....which sometimes make these EVF's only good for framing.......
So depends on your usage....different cameras have different capabilities.....so depends what you choose....you can't have everything under the sun in one camera....
This is the real "Con"sumer World!!!!!
