Star Filter

Hello all, iam a newbie in photography so pls duo duo zi ciao. Iam looking for a premium brand star filter (cross or 6 point, not too expensive one ). I tried Cathay Photo in Marina but the sales rep say they dont carry any. Can anyone recommend me any and approx. how much it would cost?

Cross screens introduce such levels of abberation that manufacturers genreally only make one model of the filter per size.

A cheap no name brand will work just as well as an expensive one in most situations.

FYI
Last Sat, I bought a 58mm Hoya 6-star cross filter at about S$18 for my zoom lens.

As my 50mm lens is using 52mm thread, I also bought a Hoya 52-58mm step up ring.


P.S. I bought it at MS Colour (Ang Mo Kio Central)

what size thread Star-6 filter are you looking for? I got a 58mm and a 62mm(Hoya) one for sale. Can sell it to you at $5 each if you want.
