Just a point to note..... please type normal and not with caps on every word..... it's pretty hard to read what u are trying to say........

Anyway, that is a pretty ancient camera. Not sure how much it is worth but u dun often see around these days...... u might want to keep it for the sentimental value if mothing else.

Hello, welcome to ClubSNAP > Equipment Discussions > Minolta > Forums. Will try post some details today when I get to office. Yes, I can FLASH it if you are willing to send it to me in singapore...... :bsmilie: :D

Thanks for your help guys,i dont understand much about photography or computers, my teenage boys know more than me. i was after advice and i thank you for your time to reply,no doubt clubsnap will be around for a long time with people like yourselves helping the likes of me, (the uneducated) .i may even learne by watching this site more often, some of the picks are truly fantastic. once again thanks for your time,MICK

You are most welcome :bsmilie: as long as you enjoy photography.

The camera you got is a classic. Many photographers in their late 30s and early 40s would remember this model if they had taken up photography during their school days.....

Minolta was considered one of the best and the quality of the rokker lens is unbeatable even today. Don't expect the youngsters these days who are used to "auto everything" to fully appreciate this camera.

This camera would be good for learners who want to know the importance of understanding manual exposures.

Oops, I know this Minolta classic, does that tell you how old I am?
Yes this is 1 of those truely manual camera, which enforce the learning curve.

Used one of these in my young days before. Actually really rugged camera, very hard to find now. BTW it is not that old is it ?. or rather I am not that old. I don't think it is in the 40-50 era. More like the 70-80 era.

SR-T 1st start selling in 1966, it's SR-T101. You forget about the sixties... :bsmilie:
