2) leather will restore to its original lusture
3) protection against moisture

Interesting :) How does your treatment defer to using a can of 3M scotchgard water repellent spray or waterproof spray for outdoor trekkers/hikers? Is your treatment permenant? How much you charging? Keen to know more.

I am charging $30 for every treatment (also depending on how big the bag). 3M scotchgard works on canvas but not so good on leather products and I don't recommend to use it on leather.
I use a special imported (costly) leather-treatment solvent (some leather manufacturer also use it to water-proof their leather products). The leather will looks fresh and slighty tanned (looks better and you can even see the leather grain) after the treatment.
I don't say it will last permenant but i would say that it would last at least a year. A good leather product will looks nice and last longer if you do take good care of it.
