Special search options

since cannot search less than 4 characters, i.e. no D60 no EOS no 1D no CPL no DOF etc etc etc...
could there be a list of pre-defined search terms like DOF techincal terms or model names D60?
Else must ask the same question every time cos no way to search...

yeah was thinking how about having specific terms that are under 4 chars? i.e I dun want to search for "I" "am" "hot", but definitely ppl want to find stuff on "DOF" and models names... so maybe a fixed list that is moderated by moderators? EG ninelives might add "7i" to the list and "VC7" etc...
dun want a general search, just want specific indices..

the pre-defined links with the specific search term can be consolidated into a sticky note as part of the faq for each forum?
or is it technically not possible with the current forum's tech?

EG:

Minolta equipment search:
Dimage 7i
Dimage 5
Dynax 5
Dynax 7
Dynax 9
