Equivalent to 75W incandascent. CRI: above 80. Stuff a few in a softbox maybe?

Cool design. Wonder if they'll work well in a softbox setup, as the design means the light isn't thrown all around like a spiral CFL.

You'll still find slight dim spots to the sides of the bulb.

At 85 lumens per watt, these are more efficient than the ikea LED bulbs I'm using at home, which are 50 lumens per watt.

Maybe the normal bulb design might work better since the light is more directional?
This 85W equivalent one looks even more efficient at 100 lumens per watt.

Actually, light fall pattern makes little difference inside a shiny softbox when they just get bounced around. Even the old Lowel Rifa is quite diffused considering the single filament lamp. Currently using brand less 15W light corns for softbox. Sim Lim Tower now sells them for around $20.

Thinking of trying the Slimline cos they're made of soft plastic and so flat.
