Sony XR 520E discontinued

Hi

Does anyone know why this model (Sony XR-520E) has been discontinued?

I own this camera and I've taken pretty good videos with it.

Lately I'm having this problem of the camera going out of focus randomly and takes a while before it gets back in focus on auto focus mode. :cry:

Does anyone else have this problem and have found a solution please respond.
