Hi, i doing photo montage using sony vegas to produce avi, follow by using sony dvd architect to input avi to dvd format disc, the resolution I use for both is 720 x 576 PAL DV.

The pro i have is when i play the dvd on my dvd player on the tv, the pictures are zoom in slightly (enlarge abit which cause some of the borders details couldn't be seen). Please advice on how to remedy this problem, thanks;)

Regards
Winson

Have u check the details are within the Safe Area b4 rendering out?
Is better to render your project to mpeg2 in Vegas and bring it into DVDA for DVD burning.

Cheers!

even the pictures have to be in the safe areas, cause when i output in avi, everything is fine. It is only when to dvd format. This is real headache...

it there any ways to overcome this overscan problem? thanks;)

When you watch the avi, it was on a computer monitor right?

When you watch the dvd, it was on a tv right?

You just have to make sure all your pictures are within the safe area when editing in Vegas.

Or watch on a flat panel TV through HDMI connection.

icic, How do I actually get the pictures into the safe areas? thanks thanks;)

You can use the Pan & Crop tool in Vegas to size your pictures.

Cheers!
