Hi all

I will be returning back to spore in 6 weeks' time.
I'm now using Sony F707.
It has served me really well, and I could not really find any major fault with it. The prob is that I find it too much a hassle to lug such a big camera around, esp while travelling.
So I would like to switch to a more portable DC.

Just like to ask the experts here for any opinions on the following 2 DCs I have shortlisted.
1. Canon G5 ( is the CA prob that bad? )
2. Sony V1

Basically, I'm still looking for a 5mp DC, with at least 4x zoom.
Any advice? Thanks =)

How about the Nikon 5400.. fits your requirements as well.. Just helping u to shortlist.. :D

well since u have been using 707, i would recommend Sony v1. Since most of the functions of 707 can be found in V1. V1 has many good reviews from those ppl bought it....

amethyst , nice picture u posted...........a very good comparison

Handled the V1 at harvey norman. Battery looks really small. The salesman say can only last 1 hour. That's a concern I suppose.

be prepared for a diff low light experience though...
