Sony SAL-135F18Z 135mm f/1.8 Carl Zeiss Sonnar T Telephoto Lens

U will not regret to get CZ 135mm.It is the prime lens and very nice on bokeh and sharpness.

I used to have one but decided the more compact Minolta 135 f2.8 is what I want.

I pack in the smallest domke bag, 24mm f2.8, 35mm f1.4, 50mm f1.4 and 135mm f2.8 occasionally, I might squeeze in 16mm f2.8 fish eye with cards and batteries.

These combination is very light and suitable for most genre but of course prime lenses are not for everyone as you would have to work "harder" to get the shots.

I find 135 f1.8 a little too bulky and generally, I don't need anything wider than f2.8.

Sharpness yes, bulk yes, cost yes... its CZ... yes!!!

So it is your choice really.

I don't really get it for indoor studio, as you won't be producing much bokeh. Cause you will be using strobe and f-stop 8 - 11.

Having a F1.8 lens does not mean, every single shots has to be F1.8.

Yeah mah. do what is required. :) its a versatile lens, and a freaking sharp one when wide opened.
