Sony RX1 video promo

All I can say is WOW!!! My pocket already empty. Huu Huu.

I like the colours shown. Do not know if it is edited.

Is this the year of Sony videocam breakthroughs?
They may not be doing well in their TV business now but they will surely increase their market share with breakthroughs in their videocams one after another in such short succession.

I wouldn't consider a breakthrough for their video cams. After all the RX1 is just a compact.

Between this time last year to date, sony has launched NX30, FS700, EA50, VG30, VG900, A99, RX100, RX1, Action Cam and the submersible G77.All very capable of very good video.

Thinking of a compact like the one being shared here for holiday. Small, light and able to take good video. Nimble. Just a thought though. Pocket empty for Thomson Medical Center for my baby boy. :)

RX100 will be perfect for you. The video from the 1" sensor is better than some micro4/3 cameras.

I presume so. Need to do some reading up and digging.

I had G11 and I have tried my friend's Sony NEX-5ND. I prefer the Sony's because the video capabilities is comparable to my 60D but of course, it has its limited range. With my G11, I was like eeerrrrr....I am impressed with Sony NEX-5ND but the price is surprisingly similar to brand new 60D.

What I really appreciate about the above mentioned cameras is their compact sizes and light weight. When I first bought my 60D, I was like bringing it everywhere I go. After while, 60D becoming heavier and heavier. HEheheheheh. ;)

Recently, Canon also has introduced EOS M series. Nikon has its J1 models. Honestly, we are spoilt for choices. Hehehehheheh.

Thanks Bro Bamboopictures. :)

I see I see. Congrats man.

i get what u mean about the 60D. sometimes i feel lazy to carry my dslr on trips. lol! but I've had the G10,GH2 and when I bring them overseas I find myself wanting to use my dslr more, in the end I never use the compact cam at all have sold both already. haha.

eleveninth>>> Hhmmmm....you could be possibly right. There is a seller in the BnS section selling his 3 weeks old Canon EOS M series. I did feel naked when using the G11 and my friend's SONY. Thanks for your opinion. I will bear that in mind when the time comes.
