Some questions on X-drive

Hi to all X-drive user,
Have a few questions:-
1. When connecting drive to PC with USB cable, do u also connect x-drive with the AC adapter to provide power to the drive?

2. Can I do a fdisk/partitioning/formatting and as extended drives & into 2 partitions for use in the x-drive, using the USB ?

3. Heard that x-drive cannot see the different partitions on the hdisk whereas the image tank can. Can anyone verify this. If that is the case which partition will the x-drive use??

Currently using Win98.

Have done it myself.
1. Fdisk the 20Gb hdisk and partition it into 2 , all via USB .
2. Note, X-drive can only recognise the 1st partition.
3. Connect AC adapter to X-drive to save on battery power, especially if u intend to do things that will take some time.
