nice bokeh and colour, but the focus on #1 should be focus on the centre flower? Just a personal preference. The spider web seem to be distractive in the last picture.

How's this for bokeh and colour? :D

The colour of the flower is nice, but the "bokeh" (out of focus part) is not much though.

Eh, considering the lens is f4 and not f2.8, that's as de-focused as I can get the background to be... They are not that far from each other...

that's why there is not much "bokeh", because you were asking for "bokeh" . If that's the case, then you may need to get lower a bit to include more blur background on the other side.
But if you talk about composition without mentioning the bokeh, then this is quite good.

Because the background is so near the subject going to f/2.8 will render parts of the flower blur as well... so u probably can't get very good OOF background unless u shoot from a different angle.

So bokeh is defined as very OOF area? I thought it applies to both slightly OOF and very OOF? As long as it is not in focus....

Bokeh refers to OOF areas and the 'quality' of the way the area is OOF. But here in your case, there would be little bokeh as the term is usually used since your OOF areas are really not very defocussed... the problem is that your DOF is not shallow enough and the subject-background distance is really too short...

Yup, i dislike those spider web aswell, but nothing i can do...

Nice shots again on the bokeh and reflection, the bird shot seem to focus on the leg though.
