Dear friends, my uncle wanted to sell his collection of Leica gear - 3 M3s, 1 M4 and a few lenses (90mm Summacron & Tele Elmar). They were working but he has not touched them for a long time. Do you think it's worth getting it CLA-ed before selling? How much does it normally cost? Need all the input I can get. Thanks in advance!

it is either you bring it down to Leica SG (but prepare to wait and pay a premium) for a quote, or bring it down to Camera Xchange over at excelsior shopping centre and ask Nick (the boss) to have a look. if the stuff are still in pretty good condition, it is definitely worth it. but for the lenses, if there are fog or lens elements' separation, maybe not worth it liao.
